Jack Della Maddalena is an Australian mixed martial artist. He is also known by his stage name, JDM, after his initials.
The athlete was born in Perth, Western Australia. From an early age, he was interested in rugby, and later represented his school at various rugby tournaments. Following in his older brother’s footsteps, Jack enrolled in a boxing gym to work on his physical fitness before the next season. He enjoyed boxing so much that after retiring from rugby, he switched to mixed martial arts.
He made his MMA debut in March 2016 in a fight with Alden Bates, which JDM lost. His next bout with Darcy Wendy also ended in defeat. In fact, the losses were over, and Jack has always left the ring victorious. In total, Maddalena has fought 20 fights, winning 18 of them!
During his time in the octagon, the fighter was awarded the title of Eternal MMA Welterweight Champion, having successfully defended his title four times. He is currently the current UFC Welterweight Champion.
